Sangria So Sangria

So easy to make and there are so many variations of this drink. Sangria comes from the Spanish word Sangre, which means blood. Bloody good it is too! i lined the cup with thin slices of lime and lemon, and tightly filled the glass with ice. In a mixer I splashed in Puerto Rican Rum, Cabernet Sauvignon, a little bit of Orange juice, some Pomegranate juice, and got to shaken! Afterwards i slowly flooded the ice and citrus slices and stuck it in the freezer for three minutes.
So, originally as planned tonight i was going to make five cocktails and blog about them. Well, fortunately i got to making the first one, but unfortunately I have an extremely low tolerance and by the second drink-- i was already down for a dosey. The good news is that this cocktail was amazing! I think that all cocktails taste better when someone else makes them for you, but it still felt pretty cool to prepare my own Sangria, after thinking it was so complicated all along.
