I never really liked Macaroons, but when my friend Shayna brought my sisters and I a box back from Paris I knew it was just because I hadn't tried the right ones. Especially when i started wrapping them in napkins and hiding them! So if You haven't had a good experience with these adorable treats, I am telling you DO NOT GIVE UP! These macaroons are light and pillowy and will melt in your mouth with every bite.
The creamy texture of the meringue, and the soft velvet lemon filling goes all too perfectly with a freshly brewed cappuccino. What I seriously love about them is their size! Finished in a few bites, there isn't much time for feeling guilty, and i didn't. Since they were so delicate and elegant I had to serve them on a rich and vibrant China--even though i ate them alone!
