Cheddar Jalapeño Bread-sticks

Although I didn't get great pictures of the inside- It was only because they were all eaten by the time I got a chance to finish! I made these bread sticks with the extra homemade pizza dough I had and although these are not traditional crunchy bread sticks, they were fun to eat and dip into hot tomato sauce.
Ingredients
2 1/2 c flour
2 3/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp oil
1 c water
1 c shredded cheddar & mozzarella
3 small chopped jalapeños
1 egg
Directions
Preheat the oven to °400 degrees.
In a bread-mixer or bowl combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the oil, minced garlic, and 1 cup of water. once combined well and a soft dough, kneed the dough into a ball on a floured counter-top. shape the dough into a small loaf. With a sharp knife cut 1-inch thick pieces.
Flatten a cut piece of dough into a rectangle. Sprinkle Cheese and Jalapeño. pinch the dough together long ways tightly. Twist the dough in opposite directions a few times and flatten the ends.
In a bowl beat the egg. lightly brush the twisted dough with egg wash and sprinkle garlic powder (and cheese). On the middle rack of the oven bake the bread-sticks for 20 to 23 minutes.
Bon Appétit!
